The agreement, in plain language.

Nurse Focus is for adults 18 and older who work in healthcare. By using Nurse Focus you confirm you are 18 or older. Access codes are provided by sponsors for their people; please don't share a code outside the group it was given to.

Maren is artificial intelligence, not a person. We tell you so in the chat header, in a disclosure card at the start of your first conversation, again after seven or more days away, and every three hours in one continuous conversation — and any time you ask her directly. Nurse Focus is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or crisis care, and nothing here creates a professional or treatment relationship. Maren does not diagnose and does not prescribe. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or your local emergency number. The app is not monitored in real time.

Please do not put patient information, or anyone else's personal details, into the app. Nurse Focus is not a covered entity and is not built to hold protected health information.

• — Don't use the app to harm, harass, or deceive anyone.
• — Don't probe, attack, or overload the service, or try to bypass the safety system, rate limits, or access controls.
• — Don't misrepresent who you are, and don't use the app for anything unlawful.
• — Don't rely on the app as a channel for emergency help. It is not one.

We may switch off access that breaks these rules, including a shared code. You can stop using Nurse Focus at any time.

Nurse Focus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features may change and the app may be unavailable at times. Because conversations are not stored, we cannot recover one for you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Nurse Focus and the people behind it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision you make or don't make based on a conversation. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months. Some places don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.

We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use Nurse Focus as intended. You may not scrape the service, access it with automated tools, or attempt to extract the underlying model or prompts.

Maren's replies are generated and can be wrong, incomplete, or not right for your situation. You agree not to rely on them for any medical, legal, employment, or safety decision.

If you access Nurse Focus through a sponsor code, a separate Sponsor Agreement governs the sponsor's purchase. Nothing in that agreement gives the sponsor any information about you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive venue of the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.

We may update these terms from time to time. We post the new version with a new effective date, and your continued use of Nurse Focus after that date means you accept the updated terms.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Nurse Focus, you may not assign your rights or obligations to anyone else, and neither side is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
